Ms Penny’s tutoring is a Kindy to HSC tutoring centre located behind Penny Remollino’s house in the leafy Sydney suburb of Miranda. She has eight tutors at any one time, tutoring English, maths, science and any of the HSIE subjects. Penny attracts students from the local Sutherland Shire and St George region.
Penny was after an SEO education copywriter to gain more exposure and attract more students. As her tutoring centre is located behind her house in a suburban street, her online presence was important.
She had an existing website and logo from 2013 when she started her centre. But, it was when Penny’s business Facebook page was hacked she decided to do a total revamp of her website and branding.
“My business Facebook page was hacked in July and I still can’t access it. It’s actually made me quite anxious,” says Penny.

The Copywriting process
We filled out a ‘Creative Brief’ while sipping a flat white to find out all about Penny’s tutoring hub. For her website to rank higher than the competitors, we needed to highlight the unique features and benefits of her centre.
I then wrote and sent her the first draft for her to look at. We followed up with a Zoom meeting to discuss changes she needed and then I sent her the second draft and final proofread content.
